Monthly Recap, Monochrome Theme & Smarter Notifications
A new budget breakdown per vehicle, a clean black-and-white theme, and notifications that take you exactly where you need to go.
✦ New
  • Monochrome theme: a clean black-and-white look with no distractions. Find it in Settings → Theme.
  • Per-vehicle Budget vs Actuals: each vehicle card now has an editable budget. Open it from the budget card to edit, or from the Reports tab to compare actuals. Both include an expandable 6-month history by category.
  • Vehicle Health shortcut: every vehicle card in your garage now has a direct shortcut to the health breakdown. No more digging for it.

  • Monthly Recap: tapping the recap notification now opens the correct summary screen. Premium users see a link to detailed reports; free users see an upgrade prompt.
  • Charts: cost-per-km and fuel efficiency reports now use bar charts instead of line charts, making trends easier to read at a glance.
  • Smarter notifications: every notification now takes you directly to the right screen — service due goes to maintenance, document expiry goes to documents, chat goes to chat. No more landing on the dashboard.
  • Help & Feedback: moved to More → Account, where you would actually look for it.

  • Service Health, reimagined: overdue alerts now account for your driving style, oil grade, and local climate. No more one-size-fits-all intervals.
  • Pick the items you track: turn individual maintenance items on or off per vehicle, edit intervals to match your manufacturer's recommendation, and add your own custom items.
  • Reminders Hub: one place for every overdue service, expiring document, and trip settle-up. Snooze anything you do not need to act on today.
  • Scan documents with AI: photograph your insurance, RC, PUC, or licence and let VehIQ fill in the details automatically. Free trial included.
  • Why? explainer: tap the Why? chip on any maintenance item, mileage figure, cost per km, or service-due alert to see exactly how it was calculated.

A complete overhaul of trips, plus a shared group expense flow and a personal diary for each vehicle.

  • Quick Trip & Road Trip modes: two dedicated experiences. Quick Trip for simple daily drive logging; Road Trip for multi-day journeys with AI-generated itineraries and points of interest along the way.
  • Group Trips: invite friends or family to a shared trip, split and settle expenses between everyone, and chat in real time within the trip.
  • Trip Report: a detailed analytics screen for each completed trip showing cost, distance, fuel used, and time.
  • Vehicle Contacts: store your mechanic, insurer, dealership, and roadside assistance contact directly on each vehicle.
